Cataract Monitoring
Our optometrist will evaluate if you have cataracts and the degree to which they are affecting your vision. He will then measure them for changes at each subsequent visit. If you need surgery, Dr. Dale has strong relationships with surgeons in the area that perform cataract surgery, and he can provide recommendations on which type may work best for you.

Pediatric Eye Care
Dr. Dale is welcoming patients of all ages. He requests the child knows either letters or numbers. Pediatric exams involve an assessment of binocular function including eye turns or strabismus, color vision, determination of need for glasses and a dilated retinal exam.
Dr. Dale is also educated in myopia control, treatment options to prevent the progression of nearsightedness in kids.

Dilated retinal evaluation and retinal photos for monitoring stability

Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease
Macular degeneration – photography and dilated retinal exams to detect and track changes
Glaucoma – intraocular pressure check, visual field testing for potential peripherally vision loss, and photography of optic nerve to track change
Plaquenil Screenings – dilated retinal evaluation and photography to screen for macular toxicity

Red Eye Treatment
Eye infections
Foreign body – including metal in eye
Pink eye or viral conjunctivitis
Contact lens red eye, including corneal ulcers
Painful, light sensitive eyes, including uveitis

Double Vision
Our optometrist measures the direction and magnitude of any deviation of the eyes and prescribes prism in glasses when necessary to alleviate symptoms of eye strain and double vision.
